Closing the Door
When one door opens (South Africa), a closed door is not far behind (looking at you, Stamford).
My 2.5 year stint in Stamford brought lifetime memories. It's where I got my start. I had an utterly awesome time! Now, I'm looking ahead to the future and couldn't be more excited about the possibilities. First mission: adventure abroad. Let's go!

"You'll Never Regret That."
On November 27th, 2011, I found my travel adventure soulmate and booked a trip to Cape Town, South Africa.
I am teaching precious little children in a township near Muizenberg, which is outside of Cape Town. I can't wait to meet them and share what I know (and learn from them!! Which I know that I will).
I am "merging education and exploration" and keeping a travel blog along the way.
It was a perfect time in my life to do this so I decided to jump on the the opportunity. When I told others about this experience one person said "You'll never regret that." That just meant so much because it was like saying that this experience could only be positive and nothing else. That is how I am looking at it. There is no way this won't be the most meaningful, exciting, and adventurous times of my life! LET'S GO!
